Sophie Turner’s back to basics Lara Croft look revealed
The first photo of Sophie Turner in her upcoming role as Lara Croft has been revealed.
She was announced as the star of Prime Video’s Tomb Raider TV show in September, and the streamer said production on the series had now begun.
It released an image of the actress wearing the fictional archaeologist’s green tank top and brown shorts – a look inspired by the character’s appearance in the classic Lara Croft games on the original PlayStation.
Sophie previously said the role – which has been filled by Oscar winners Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander – had given her “massive shoes to fill”.
